As a trainer, my goal is not just to train your dog, but to empower you as the owner to work with your dog by giving you the knowledge, tools, and support you need in order to achieve the fully balanced + gratifying relationship you seek.

At Propper Pet, we use a balanced training approach based upon all four quadrants of the Operant Conditioning system, paired with Classical Conditioning systems.

You will not find any “one size fits all ” training programs here. I meet each individual dog where they are at and base my training accordingly. I believe in taking a holistic approach when it comes to dog training, meaning I look at the entire spectrum of the dog that’s in front of me. Your dog’s biological needs, mental and physical fulfillment, as well as diet play a huge role in your dog’s behavior.

 

There’s more to training than just obedience.

I focus on your dog’s body language, energy, and their state of mind to get the feedback I need in order to help change their conditioned emotional response to triggers. I huge part of my approach is based around dog psychology in order to honor and understand the species they truly are.

I offer private training sessions that take place right in your home as well as a board & train program. Virtual training programs are also in the works and will be offered soon. I look forward to working with you and your dog.
